??? Conduct experiments and lab work to develop and test active/intelligent packaging solutions.
??? Assist in the creation and implementation of case studies to showcase innovative packaging developments.
??? Collaborate with cross-functional teams to brainstorm ideas, solve technical challenges, and drive project success.
??? Research and stay informed about industry trends, advancements in food safety, and packaging technology.
??? Document experimental procedures, results, and observations accurately and consistently.
??? Analyze experimental data and prepare clear summaries of findings.
??? Present project updates and results to stakeholders in a clear, professional manner.
??? Support the preparation of technical reports, presentations, and prototypes for internal and external use.
??? Contribute creative ideas to improve processes, packaging performance, and sustainability initiatives.
??? All other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Education, or Experience

??? Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Packaging Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, Engineering, Food Science, or a related field.
??? Experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
??? Excellent verbal, written and presentation skills.
??? Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
??? Ability to follow documented policies and procedures.
??? Trouble shooting/problem solving skills.

Work Environment

Work primarily in a climate controlled indoor environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential. Hearing protection, safety shoes and vision protection as required.

This role operates in a professional office environment that requires some exposure to a manufacturing environment. Employee is rarely exposed to non-toxic/nuisance smells from chemicals, airborne dust, moving mechanical parts, high noise levels and hot/humid environmental conditions in the manufacturing area.

This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
