Industrial Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, supplying over 26 billion fasteners to commercial construction projects, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to join their team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the manufacturing team supporting operational excellence. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, effective communication abilities, and a commitment to safety which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician

Location: Reading, PA

Pay Range: $23/hr - $29/hr depending on experience

What's the Job?

  • Install, repair, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment through preventive maintenance.
  • Identify sources of problems by observing mechanical devices in operation.
  • Dismantle machinery and remove/replace defective parts as necessary.
  • Inspect and measure various instruments to determine changes in requirements of parts.
  • Train production workers on routine preventive maintenance procedures.

What's Needed?

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Vocational/Technical school training in Mechatronics, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or a related field preferred.
  • Ability to apply mechanical, electrical, and basic programming knowledge to troubleshoot manufacturing equipment effectively.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of safety regulations required.
