Industrial Maintenance Technician 2nd shift

Our client, a leader in the industrial sector, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician 2nd shift to join their team. As an Industrial Maintenance Technician, you will be part of the maintenance department supporting the operational efficiency of the facility. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to maintenance, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Industrial Maintenance Technician 2nd shift
Location: Covington, GA
Pay Range: $25/hr.
Shift: 2nd shift 3pm - 11:30pm Mon - Friday and weekends as scheduled in rotation

What's the Job?

  • Conduct regular inspections of facilities to identify and resolve maintenance issues.
  • Perform general maintenance tasks including painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
  • Conduct minor and major repairs on building structures and systems, including HVAC and mechanical systems.
  • Perform preventive maintenance to avoid potential breakdowns and malfunctions.
  • Install and set up new equipment, machinery, and maintain an inventory of repair equipment and supplies.

What's Needed?

  • High School diploma or GED.
  • 2-3 years of relevant experience in facility maintenance.
  • Basic electrical knowledge of 12 volt, 24 volt AC/DC power.
  • Basic electrical knowledge of 120V/208V power
  • Basic electrical knowledge of 277V/480V power
  • Experience managing conveyor systems and performing preventive maintenance.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including mandatory weekend overtime.
