INDUSTRIAL FACILITIES MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Atlas Machine & Supply, Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Facilities Maintenance Technician for our Louisville, KY location on Global Drive. This position is responsible for performing routine building maintenance and cleaning tasks, as well as handling maintenance work across one or more areas such as carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and plumbing. Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

Shift Details: Second shift - Monday - Friday - 3:00pm - 11:30pm

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

Support machining production:

Cleaning shop floor with scrubbing machineDump scrap metal with use of forkliftMop and clean areas around machines

Support Facility Maintenance Projects:

Use of forklift, scissor lift, boom liftInstall network data cablingClean interior shop wallsMinor electrical maintenanceMinor painting, carpentry and masonry workMinor plumbingPerforms other duties and responsibilities that are reasonably assigned by the employer or idesignated representative.

REQUIREMENTS:

1 - 2 years of experience in facilities and maintenanceThe ability and willingness to learnProblem solving skillsAbility to multi-taskAbility to use common hand and power tools

Preferred skills:

Knowledge of electrical circuitsKnowledge of HVAC systemsKnowledge of plumbing systemsMetal stud framingInterior painting experience
