Salary: $100,000 - $160,000 per year
A bit about us:The Director of Impact Investments will lead all aspects of mission-aligned investing, with a strong focus on impact-first strategies. This role reports to the Chief of Investments and collaborates closely with teams across Finance, Community Impact, and Philanthropic Services, while also engaging extensively with external partners.

Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:
- Impact Investment Selection & Monitoring
- Partner with Community Impact leadership to align impact investments with broader philanthropic goals
- Enhance due diligence processes to emphasize impact criteria for investment selection and monitoring
- Develop frameworks to measure and report on both financial returns and social outcomes of impact investments
- Collaborate with leadership and external consultants to launch a new impact-focused investment pool for donor-advised funds
- Build relationships with impact fund managers and represent the organization at Chicago-area impact investing events
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field; Master's degree preferred
- Experience in investment management or financial services; endowment, foundation, or family office experience is a plus
- Professional or academic experience in impact investing
- Strong quantitative, analytical, and organizational skills
- Commitment to community development and the nonprofit sector
- Clear and effective verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with attention to detail and meet deadlines consistently
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships across a wide range of stakeholders
