HVAC Technician

Our client, a leading R&D organization, is seeking a HVAC Technician to join their team.
As a HVAC Technician, you will be part of the Engineering & Maintenance (E&M) department supporting a team of skilled engineers. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, flexibility, and a willingness to learn-qualities that align well with the collaborative and dynamic nature of the site.

Job Title: HVAC Technician

Location: Rockville, MD - 14200 Shady Grove Rd

Pay: $45-$50 per hour

What's the Job?

• Monitor and maintain large steam plant equipment, including 600 HP boilers and chillers
• Perform minor preventative maintenance tasks
• Support building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Collaborate with engineering team to maintain optimal facility performance

What's Needed?

• Maryland Stationary Engineer License (1st grade preferred; 2nd or 3rd accepted)
• At least 3 years of experience in steam plant maintenance
• HVAC, minor plumbing, and electrical troubleshooting skills
• High School Diploma or GED
