About the Role:

As an HVAC Service Technician 2 at Jakes Heating & Cooling, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the comfort and safety of our clients by providing high-quality heating, ventilation, and air conditioning services. Your primary responsibility will be to diagnose, repair, and maintain HVAC systems, ensuring they operate efficiently and effectively. Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid HVAC technician certification or relevant trade school training.
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC service and repair.

Preferred Qualifications:

• EPA certification for refrigerant handling.
• Experience with advanced HVAC systems, including smart technology integration.
• Customer service experience in a technical field.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on HVAC systems, including heating, cooling, and ventilation equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions and implement effective solutions.
• Communicate with clients to explain service options, provide estimates, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Maintain accurate records of service performed, parts used, and time spent on each job.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices to enhance service delivery.
