About the position:

A Heavy Equipment Operator is responsible for the following:

• Operate heavy equipment machinery in a strategic manner
• Perform daily preventative maintenance on equipment
• Identify waste type for materials processing
• Direct on-site truck traffic
• Maintain consistent communication via two-way radios and hand signals
• Perform all tasks in a safe and timely manner
• Provide customer service
• Upkeep the general cleanliness of the facility

Preferred Experience:

• Waste Industry
• Volvo EC240BLC High Top Excavator
• Front End Articulating Loader Experience
• Komatsu 270, 320, 380
• John Deere 190 DW

Physical Demands:

Individual must have the consistent ability to:

• Stand and walk during a significant portion of their shift
• Lift, push, and pull 50-75lbs
• Maintain 3 consciousness of peripheral safety hazards
• Operate heavy equipment machinery
