Hazmat Driver

CHS is looking for an OTR Hazmat Driver to join our team in Rosemount, MN. This individual will be focused on delivering energy products such as fuel, diesel, and lubricants. This role will require a mix of local and regional routes throughout the week, some days the driver will be home daily, and some routes will require a few nights overnight in the truck. Drivers will be home for the weekend regardless for most of the year. There is also a 10 day route that occurs 4-6 times a year where the driver would go down to Texas or up through Canada.

This role is eligible for a $3,000 sign on bonus! $1500 will be paid within 30 days, and an additional $1500 will be paid after 1 year in the role.

• Ensure accurate and on time deliveries to our customers in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
• Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal laws. To include but not limited to pre-trip and post-trip reporting, proper load securement and hours of service.
• Assist in the warehouse when not delivering product.
• Work extended hours in-season to meet business demands.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and follow all safety policies, procedures and regulations. Identify and communicate workplace hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions
• Assist warehouse staff and perform other duties as needed or assigned.

• Class A CDL
• 2+ years of CDL driving experience
• Must meet minimum age requirement

• Hazmat, Tanker and Air Brake endorsements
• Must meet DOT and Company requirements
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
• Ability to work additional hours and occasional Saturdays to meet business demands
• Bulk liquid experience preferred
• Pre-employment screening is based on the job requirements and industry guidelines and may or may not be required for the position. If required, selected candidates must pass pre-employment screenings to include all or a combination of drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements and FMSCA Clearinghouse.

CHS offers a competitive total rewards package. Compensation includes base wage and, depending upon position, may include other earnings such as bonus, incentives and commissions. Actual pay offered will vary based on multiple factors which may include, without limitation, experience, education, training, specialized skills and certifications.
