Summary
The Tire Freight Handler is responsible for safe and efficient loading, unloading, sorting, and stacking of tires within containers and trailers. This role requires a high level of physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety and operational standards. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced warehouse environment and contributes to maintaining productivity and accuracy across daily operations.
Roles and Responsibilities
Load, unload, and manually stack tires from containers and trailers onto pallets in accordance with operational standardsUtilize proper tire stacking techniques to ensure loads are stable, secure, and safe for transport and storageSort and stage tires accurately based on shipping and receiving documentationVerify trailer suitability and ensure alignment with load specificationsAccurately complete paperwork and maintain precise tire countsExecute daily production schedules as directed by supervisors or site managementOperate manual pallet jacks to move pallets safely within the warehouseMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all company policies, site procedures, and safety protocolsPerform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs Safety:
Adhere to all OSHA and MSDS standards and company safety policiesFollow proper lifting techniques and safe material handling practicesReport safety concerns, incidents, or hazards promptlySupport and promote a culture of safety and accountability on-siteAssist in maintaining compliance with warehouse safety procedures and inspections Minimum Qualifications and Physical Demands
