Job Summary
This is a high-impact opportunity to shape the financial future of McKesson Medical Surgical's Biomedical Solutions business. As the FP&A Manager supporting the Sales organization, you'll be the strategic finance partner to the VP of Biomed, driving performance and unlocking growth across both Biomed and Extended Care Sales teams. You'll harness deep financial expertise and cross-functional collaboration to deliver sharp insights, guide decision-making, and elevate the business with thought leadership that goes beyond the numbers.
At the P4 level, the FP&A Manager fills a pivotal role where expertise meets autonomy. Operating in a dynamic environment, this professional drives impact guiding the work of others without formal management titles. With sharp judgment and a forward-looking mindset, the FP&A Manager doesn't just solve complex problems they anticipate them, shape the response, and lead the charge toward resolution. This role offers exceptional latitude to define objectives , chart the course, and deliver results independently. It's a space for bold thinking, strategic execution, and meaningful influence where leadership is earned through insight, initiative, and the ability to turn ambiguity into clarity.
Job Responsibilities
Lead financial planning, including forecasting and budgeting
Conduct in-depth variance analysis and identify performance drivers
Develop and maintain complex financial models and dashboards
Partner with cross-functional teams to align on financial goals and assumptions
Prepare executive-level summaries and presentations
Support strategic initiatives with financial analysis and recommendations
Actively seeks out ways to improve processes and outcomes for the business
Highly analytical with a deep understanding of financial levers
Advanced Excel and modeling capabilities
Ability to communicate complex financial information clearly and effectively
Strong attention to detail and intellectual curiosity
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards
Collaborative, service-oriented, and team-focused
High social and emotional intelligence with experience influencing stakeholders
Strategic thinker with the ability to anticipate challenges
Comfortable challenging the status quo to drive better outcomes
Additional Skills
SQL experience with ability to reconcile information from multiple sources
Motivated self-starter that is well organized, dependable, efficient and results oriented
Strong time management and organization skills with flexibility to work in a fast-paced and changing work environment
Experience collaborating with senior leaders and influencing upward
Ability to collaborate across multiple teams/functions to drive decision marking and action
Education
BS/BA in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
MBA or CPA preferred
