Position Summary:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical FP&A Analyst to join our team and support our Commercial Sales & Marketing functions. This entry-level role is ideal for an early-career finance professional eager to build expertise in pricing strategy, sales forecasting, trade spend analysis, and promotional ROI.

As an FP&A Analyst, you will play a key role in delivering actionable financial insights that drive business decisions. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Operations Finance, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment and support strategic initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Sales Forecasting & Reporting:
• Prepare monthly and quarterly sales forecasts by customer, channel, and SKU.
• Analyze actual sales vs. forecast and identify key variances.
• Pricing & Margin Analysis
• Support the evaluation of pricing strategies and promotional effectiveness.
• Develop margin analysis by customer and product line to identify profit improvement opportunities.
• Trade Spend Management
• Track trade promotions and discounts; provide analysis of trade spend ROI.
• Partner with Sales to monitor deductions and accruals.
• Commercial Insights
• Collaborate with Sales & Marketing to provide ad-hoc financial analysis to support strategic initiatives (e.g., new product launches, customer bids, contract renewals).
• Develop dashboards and reports for leadership highlighting key commercial KPIs.
• Budgeting & Forecasting
• Assist in the annual budgeting process for Sales & Marketing expense lines.
• Support monthly rolling forecast updates and variance explanations.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with Operations Finance, Accounting, and Supply Chain teams to ensure alignment of commercial forecasts with production plans.

Minimum Qualifications

• Candidates must reside within 40 miles of Sauget, IL (Greater St. Louis area). Please note that relocation assistance will not be provided for this role.
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• 0-2 years of relevant experience in financial analysis or a related discipline.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including financial modeling and data analysis.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Benefits

Competitive base salary ($60,000-$75,000/year). Base salary is one component of a competitive compensation package for employees. Full benefits package, including medical/ vision/ dental/life insurance, 401(k) with company match, and paid time off. We take into consideration a variety of factors including, but not limited to, skills, abilities, experience, education, credentials, and internal equity when determining the base salary offered.
