POSITION SUMMARY
The Crew Lead is a traveling position that provides general construction and facility maintenance services.
SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES
Proficiencies & Leadership
Perform and lead a wide range of skilled construction and repair work:
General and finish carpentry
Cabinetry, millwork, and shelving installation
Drywall, tile, grout, and ceiling repairs
Painting, caulking, framing, light masonry
Fixture and signage installation/replacement
Final cleanup and quality finish work
Supervise crew members and subcontractors.
Maintain project safety, compliance, and quality standards.
Communicate clearly with project management team, customers, and field technicians.
Collaboration & Communication
Work closely with the project management team to align with maintenance means and methods.
Participate in pre-dispatch meetings to clarify scope and conditions.
Communicate clearly with subcontractors and suppliers regarding scope, schedule, and requirements.
Support the post-repair handoff process to customer operations.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years of experience in carpentry and general construction.
Strong hands-on leadership and problem-solving skills.
Willingness to work 3rd shift and occasional weekends.
Valid driver's license with a clean record.
Must pass a drug screen and background check.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
OSHA 10 Certification
First Aid/CPR Certification
Forklift operation certification
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this position:
Regularly lift and carry up to 50+ pounds
Frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, crouching, and climbing ladders
Ability to perform repetitive physical tasks throughout overnight shifts
Ability to work indoors in operational commercial environments
Manual dexterity required to operate tools and equipment

WORK ENVIRONMENT
Day and overnight work in active commercial facilities
Regional travel required (Midwest and surrounding states)
Company-provided lodging during travel
Company-provided vehicle during travel
Moderate to high noise levels depending on project scope
Exposure to typical construction materials and environments
