Strathmore is hiring an experienced Estimator to support our residential builder operations. We are a fast-growing flooring, cabinet, paint and design firm with locations across the Southeast.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct take-offs which include cost for material and installation labor.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with company vendors and clients.
- Provide consultation, coordination, customer service and assistance to our customers and internal personnel.
- Maintain detailed and organized records of bid documents, drawings, correspondence, and other project specific information.
REQUIREMENTS:
The ideal candidate will have 2+ years' experience as an estimator, previous experience in the residential construction industry and flooring strongly preferred.
- Must be able to read, interpret, and understand architectural drawings and specifications.
- Proficient in RFMS Measure program with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Highly self-motivated
- Detail oriented
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task.
