Job DetailsKey Responsibilities:
- Manage all finance and accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in financial reporting.
- Supervise day-to-day financial functions, including managing both local and remote teams.
- Conduct comprehensive financial analysis to support strategic decision-making and long-term business planning.
- Prepare financial reports and performance metrics to evaluate property health and overall portfolio performance.
- Lead financial aspects of property acquisitions, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Oversee profit and loss statements to align with growth and profitability objectives.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements.
- Act as the primary contact for external auditors, regulatory agencies, and financial partners.
- Manage payroll operations and support in onboarding financial team members.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or advanced degree preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of senior-level finance or accounting experience, preferably within real estate investment.
- Profound knowledge of finance, accounting, budgeting, and GAAP principles.
- Hands-on experience with financial and accounting software; familiarity with Rent Manager is advantageous.
- Proven leadership in high-growth environments and managing distributed teams.
- Strong analytical skills to translate strategic goals into actionable financial models.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial insights effectively.
- Prior experience in startup or small business environments, demonstrating adaptability and problem-solving skills.
