BHE GT&S JOB DESCRIPTIONBHE GT&S has an exciting opportunity as a Financial Analyst at our general office building located in Bridgeport, WV
RESPONSIBILITIES - Supports development and maintenance of company's consolidated budget/forecast and corporate strategy.
- Assists in development and monitoring of corporate strategy.
- Supports budget development and consolidation process, ensuring timeliness and financial accuracy.
- Provides analysis and presentation preparation, to support investment decisions going before Investment Review Committee.
- Supports reviewing, updating and communication of capital cost utilized for business and investment decisions.
QUALIFICATIONS - At least 3 years related experience.
- Knowledge of financial management and analysis, utility and/or relevant industry, and accounting standards and practices.
- Excellent leadership, organizational, interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
- Teaming, analytical, and customer focus skills.
- Some expertise in consolidated financial planning and analysis, capital allocation, project financial analysis, MA analysis, due diligence process, and understanding of accounting, tax and financing principles.
- Knowledge of Excel and Powerpoint.
- Aptitude for continuous learning.
Education: Bachelor (Typically four years of related, progressive work experience would be needed for candidates applying for this position who do not possess a bachelor's degree.)
Preferred Degree: Accounting, Business, or Finance
