We're looking for a Financial Aid Advisor who's passionate about helping students navigate the financial aid process and committed to providing clear, accurate guidance every step of the way.

What You'll Do:
- Advise students on financial aid applications, eligibility, and award options
- Review, verify, and assess student files in line with federal, state, and institutional regulations
- Determine aid packages based on established guidelines and individual circumstances
- Provide personalized support through workshops, one-on-one advising, calls, emails, and online tools
- Handle verification of selected FAFSA files, request documentation, submit corrections, and adjust awards as needed
- Communicate financial aid processes clearly within the team, across departments, and with students and families
- Review and process special circumstance requests with sound professional judgment
- Represent the Financial Aid team at student events, orientations, and campus activities
- Collaborate with other departments on student support initiatives
- Assist leadership with department goals, projects, and student success strategies
- Manage exit counseling for students leaving the university
- Take on special projects or additional duties as needed
What You'll Need:
- Required: Associate's degree plus 3 years of customer service experience
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree and 2-3 years of financial aid experience in higher education
