- The Finance Manager will lead and manage project finance opportunities, focusing on structuring, negotiating, and executing financing solutions for projects and/or portfolios. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and deep expertise in project finance, including debt, equity, and hybrid financial instruments.
Finance Manager Duties/Responsibilities (including, but not limited to):
- Create and analyze financial models to determine project feasibility and financial viability.
- Develop and present financing strategies to internal and external stakeholders.
- Oversee the structuring and negotiation of financing arrangements for large-scale projects.
- Work alongside staff to promote rapid execution of financing strategy.
- Establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, lenders, and clients.
- Maximize value and ensure compliance with all financial regulations and standards.
- Identify and mitigate financial risks associated with projects.
- Lead due diligence efforts associated with new financial opportunities.
- Support and pursue new opportunities to add incremental value to the broader organization.
- Collaborate with other departments to align project finance strategies with overall business goals.
- Prepare and present detailed presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
- Conduct regular reviews of project performance and financial outcomes.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve financial performance and project outcomes.
Finance Manager Required Skills/Experience:
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in project finance, investment banking, or related fields.
- Bachelor's degree in finance, business, economics, or a related field (Master's or MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of leading and executing large-scale project financing deals.
- Strong leadership and team management experience.
- Demonstrate a high level of professionalism, integrity and business etiquette. Ability to communicate effectively with all audiences.
- Must be willing help promote a cultural of high moral standards, work ethic, work product and ingenuity.
- In-depth knowledge of project finance structures, financial modeling, and risk management.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a multi-entity, fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Proficiency in creating and maintaining complex project proforma using MS Excel.
- Strong decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
- Results-oriented with a focus on achieving financial goals and objectives.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
Must be able to frequently lift or move items up to 10 pounds.
Must be able to occasionally lift or move items up to 25 pounds.
Travel: As required; potential for overnights is approximately 25%
