Facilities Technician 3

Our client, a leader in Life Sciences facility management, is seeking a Facilities Technician 3 to join their team. As a Facilities Technician 3, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting critical research and manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Westborough, MA

Pay Rate: $32-38/hr

What's the Job?

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on critical facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and utility infrastructure.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair laboratory equipment, clean utilities, and facility infrastructure to ensure optimal operational performance.
• Monitor environmental control systems such as temperature, humidity, and air quality to support life sciences operations.
• Manage facility services including inventory control, contracted maintenance, and general upkeep activities.
• Provide on-call support for emergency situations, coordinating with teams to minimize operational disruptions.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; vocational or technical training preferred.
• EPA Universal CFC certification (or obtained within 90 days of employment).
• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in facility maintenance, including boilers and chillers.
• Experience with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and work order management.
• Proficiency in HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems maintenance.
