Tekni-Plex, Inc is hiring for a night shift
Extrusion Operator to join their production team in
Decatur. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer in consumer grade plastic products! As an Extrusion Operator, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining extrusion machinery to produce high-quality products according to specifications.
Shift: Night shift: 5:45 pm - 6:00 am on a 2/2/3 rotation
Compensation & Benefits: - $18.50/hr + $1 shift differential

Key Responsibilities: - Operate extrusion machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
- Monitor the extrusion process to ensure product quality and consistency.
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of extrusion equipment.
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet quality standards.
- Record production data and complete necessary documentation.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures to maintain a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications: - Previous experience as an extrusion operator or in a similar role preferred.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 50 pounds for extended periods.
