Job Title: Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney Location: Edina, Minnesota Job Type: Full-Time Experience Level: 2-5 Years Practice Area: Trusts & Estates / Private Client Services About the Role: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Trusts and Estates Associate Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join our dynamic and collaborative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters, and will be comfortable working directly with high-net-worth individuals and families. Key Responsibilities: ??? Draft estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives. ??? Advise clients on estate, gift, and generation-skipping transfer tax strategies. ??? Assist with the administration of trusts and estates, including probate proceedings. ??? Conduct legal research and analysis related to estate planning and tax issues. ??? Collaborate with financial advisors, accountants, and other professionals to develop comprehensive estate plans. ??? Maintain client relationships and ensure high levels of service and responsiveness. Qualifications: ??? J.D. from an accredited law school and admission to the state bar. ??? 2-5 years of experience in trusts and estates law. ??? Strong drafting and analytical skills. ??? Familiarity with federal and state tax laws affecting estates and trusts. ??? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ??? Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively. ??? Experience drafting a full range of estate planning documents. ??? Experience developing estate plans for high net-worth clients. ??? Experience administering taxable estates and probates.
