Our client, an environmental and engineering consulting firm serving Williston, VT, is seeking an Environmental Project Manager to join their team. As an Environmental Project Manager, you will be part of the project management department supporting environmental remediation and site investigation teams. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Environmental Project Manager
Location: Williston, VT
Pay Range: $75,000 - $110,000 yearly
What's the Job?
- Manage environmental projects from initial planning through execution and closure
- Oversee remedial system design and implementation (e.g., SVE, ISCO, pump & treat)
- Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
- Lead subsurface investigations including drilling, sampling, and hydrogeological studies
- Prepare technical reports, proposals, and regulatory documentation
What's Needed?
- Bachelor's degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in environmental consulting or site remediation
- Proficiency in site characterization, remedial technologies, and regulatory compliance
- PE or PG license (or eligibility)
- Familiarity with VT DEC, EPA, and ASTM regulations
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, or environmental modeling tools
- OSHA 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel locally
