The COMET contract provides overall management and implementation of ground systems capabilities, flight hardware processing, and launch operations at NASA's Kennedy Space Center (KSC) in Florida. These tasks will support the International Space Station, Ground Systems Development and Operations, and the Space Launch System, Orion MultiPurpose Crew Vehicle, and Launch Services programs.
Responsibilities Areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to:
Support Launch Vehicle Processing of the Artemis Launch Vehicles at Kennedy Space Center. This support includes flight hardware assembly operations, testing and validations of flight and ground systems.Working in a team environment, Technician will work to detailed instructions and schematics to perform work in all aspects of flight hardware.Technician will be participating in training requirements to obtain all necessary certifications to perform assembly work.
Qualifications
Qualifications: High School Diploma or equivalent and technical training in the applicable area of expertise and eight years of related experience including experience directing other technicians.
