Engineering Technician 2

Our client, a leading organization in the medical technology industry, is seeking a Tech 2, Mechanical Engineering to join their team. As a Tech 2, Mechanical Engineering, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting the Engineering and Production teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Mechanical Engineering Technician 2

Location: Brea, CA

Pay Range: Depending on exp.

What's the Job?

  • Gather, maintain, and manipulate technical data such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes.
  • Produce engineering documents, reports, and drawings including flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics.
  • Prepare reports and summaries, including quantitative analysis.
  • Provide technical support to engineers on various technical tasks.
  • Assist in scoping equipment for use and completing qualifications.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; experience in a lab environment or technician experience in a regulated environment for 4-6 years.
  • Experience following written procedures and working collaboratively within a team.
  • Ability to understand and perform designed test procedures.
  • Proficiency in personal computers and related software tools.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to develop solutions to routine technical problems.
