Engineering Support Specialist

Our client, a leader in the aerospace industry, is seeking a Sr. Advanced Engineering Support Specialist to join their team. As a Sr. Advanced Engineering Support Specialist, you will be part of the Technical Department supporting the Sensing, Guidance & Navigation Electrical Engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Sr. Advanced Engineering Support Specialist

Location: Clearwater, FL

Pay Rate: $52.88/hr

What's the Job?

  • Prepare and assist with the creation and verification of Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
  • Coordinate ECNs by engaging various stakeholders, including Configuration Management and Mechanical and Electrical Engineering teams.
  • Perform engineering drawing checks against redlines and parts lists to ensure proper implementation.
  • Provide copyediting and proofreading support on engineering reports.
  • Conduct research on component datasheets and perform data mining in Teamcenter.

What's Needed?

  • Associate's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline or 15 years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
  • 10+ years of experience working on engineering teams.
  • 5+ years of experience with Teamcenter.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English.
  • Proficiency in technical documentation and familiarity with navigation and sensor technologies is preferred.
