Engineering Supervisor

Join our White Elephant Aspen Team, part of White Elephant Resorts, a collection of award-winning boutique hotels and luxury resorts in Nantucket, Palm Beach, and Aspen.

We are currently seeking a full-time, year-round Engineering Supervisor to support the smooth operation and maintenance of our Aspen property. This is a great opportunity for someone detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about supporting luxury hospitality.

As Engineering Supervisor, you'll play a key leadership role in overseeing the hotel's physical operations and maintenance functions. You will supervise a skilled engineering team, ensure all building systems are maintained to the highest standards, and serve as a key contact for emergencies or escalations in the absence of the Director of Engineering.

Ideal start date no later than November 20, 2025.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise daily maintenance operations across hotel rooms, public areas, and back-of-house.
• Implement and manage a robust preventive maintenance program.
• Train, schedule, and evaluate engineering team members.
• Assist in planning capital improvements and special projects.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
• Respond promptly to emergency calls and ensure guest safety and satisfaction.
• Maintain compliance with local codes, safety procedures, and environmental standards.
• Work collaboratively with other departments and vendors to ensure seamless operations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in building maintenance, ideally in hospitality.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety systems.
• Familiarity with local building, fire, and safety codes.
• Strong leadership skills.
• Proficiency with mobile work order systems and basic computer applications.
• Ability to lead by example and foster a team-oriented environment.
• Trade licenses/certifications and Certified Pool Operator (CPO) are a plus
