Position Title: Employee Management Subject Matter Expert

The Employee Management Subject Matter Expert (SME) works regularly with internal as well as external contacts in the onboarding of Personal Care Attendants (PCA), with specific focus on the I9 and E-verify process. This staff person must have current working knowledge of I9, practices, regulations and related compliance matters. The SME must be effective in delivering consistent results, maintain a high level of knowledge of all tasks within the department, and able to work effectively with little direction.
Essential Functions
- Review, Enter and Process New hire paperwork
- Processed New PCA Paperwork and Maintain accurate I-9 records
- Complete I-9 forms through E- Verify
- Run UID, Social Security and OIG verification
- Be a point of contact for the rest of the team for E-Verify questions
- Assist with input on Annual Performance review
- The ability to respond to emails from the agencies from the Employee management inbox and MAFMS inbox
- Research and process issues via in-house communications tool/ EMT dashboard
- Research issues forwarded to Employee management from any other department and respond in a timely manner
- Able to work with the Union updates and knowledge of Union procedures
- Research and process issues regarding the PCA orientation program
- Must maintain a general knowledge of all Employee management tasks and functions
- Provide support to other EMT staff (e.g. answer questions, review of processes, etc.)
- Labeling the faxes through the daily print from the NHP folder and properly separating them to the correct folders
- Labeling the scan form that comes from visitors and mail into the scan folder.
- Communicating via email, fax, and phone with internal and external contacts
- File all completed work in LF in correct folders
- Ability to work in a high production environment while maintaining close attention to detail
- Ability to work independently
- Provide suggestions for any improvements to help the department be more efficient
- Report to IT & supervisor any issues that may arise with software as soon as suspected
- All other duties assigned by the Employee Management Supervisor

Required Experience
- Must have experience working in an office environment
- Experience with the I9 and Everify process required.
Required Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and scanners.
