Our client, an industry leader in commercial property management and maintenance, is seeking an Electrical Technician to join their team. As an Electrical Technician, you will be part of the Facilities Maintenance Department supporting electrical operations and safety initiatives. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Electrical Technician
Location: McPherson, Kansas
Pay: $36/hr. (negotiable)

What's the Job?

  • Perform and oversee electrical installations, preventive maintenance, and repairs within a designated geographic area.
  • Conduct quality control audits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards.
  • Provide technical assistance, training, and hands-on support for electrical maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Support the operation of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, building automation, and security systems.
  • Ensure all work adheres to industry standards, codes, laws, and safety regulations.

What's Needed?

  • Minimum of 2 years of electrical experience in an industrial or commercial setting.
  • Knowledge of applicable electrical codes, laws, and safety standards.
  • Proficiency in using computers, handheld electronic devices, and web-based applications.
  • NFPA 70e certification or equivalent safety certification.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various environmental conditions.
