Responsibilities:
- Organizes a team of electricians actively involved in various craft specialties, to include input on evaluations and weekly time approval.
- Responsible for shift schedule to include: work station assignments/rotations, employee training, employee vacations, employee breaks, overtime assignments, back up for absent employees and rotating shifts
- Diagnoses, delegates, instructs and carries out skilled activities involving the repair, installation, calibration, and maintenance of equipment and facilities.
- Guarantees adherence to safety practices and principles, and maintains electrical equipment to the relevant Federal, State, and Local Codes.
- Knowledge and ability to troubleshoot/ repair ENI, HMI, PLC's maintenance VFD's, motor controls, and instrumentation
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED required. Associates degree preferred.
- At least 4 years of industrial electrical experience
- At least 2 years in a mill, heavy industrial or manufacturing environment
- Must be able to work in outdoor environments and occasionally in temperatures above 100 degrees and below 32 degrees
- Willing and able to work in a hot, humid, cold and noisy industrial environment
