Premier Trade Services is seeking an experienced Electrical Superintendent to oversee commercial electrical construction projects in the Columbia, SC area. We're looking for a proven leader who can manage field operations, maintain a safe work environment, and keep projects moving efficiently from start to finish.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations on commercial electrical construction projects.
• Lead and supervise Foremen and electrical crews.
• Coordinate manpower, materials, tools, and equipment.
• Ensure projects remain on schedule and within budget.
• Maintain OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
• Conduct daily planning meetings and coordinate with Project Managers.
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documents.
• Manage project documentation including timesheets, safety reports, and change orders.
• Communicate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and internal teams.
• Assist with planning upcoming work and identifying project needs.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of commercial electrical construction experience.
• Previous experience as an Electrical Superintendent or Lead Foreman ready to step into a Superintendent role.
• Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC).
• Experience managing multiple crews on commercial projects.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction drawings.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• Experience with material ordering and project coordination.
• Ability to work independently while maintaining a team-focused mindset.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen.
