We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join a growing medical device development team. This role will focus on the design, development, and support of complex electrical systems used in regulated Class II and Class III medical devices. The ideal candidate brings strong hands-on design experience, a solid foundation in both analog and digital electronics, and the ability to solve high-complexity technical challenges in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.

This will start out as a six month contract role and have the ability to be extended indefinitely.

Pay Rate: 60-80hr

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and support electrical systems for new and existing medical devices
  • Perform analog and digital circuit design, including signal conditioning, filtering, A/D conversion, and sensor interfaces
  • Develop microcontroller-based and embedded system designs to meet product and regulatory requirements
  • Create and maintain PCB schematics and support layout efforts in collaboration with PCB designers
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex electrical issues at the board and system level
  • Generate and maintain detailed technical documentation in compliance with design control and regulatory standards
  • Support verification, validation, and design reviews throughout the product development lifecycle
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (BS) or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline
  • 3+ years of electrical systems design experience, preferably within a regulated industry
  • High-level understanding and hands-on experience with:
    • Analog and digital circuit design
    • Embedded systems and microcontroller-based designs
    • Sensor interfaces, A/D conversion, and signal filtering
    • PCB schematic design for complex electronic systems
  • Proven ability to quickly diagnose and solve high-complexity electrical problems
