Job DetailsResponsibilities:
Generate detailed 2D three-phase, single-phase, and low-voltage electrical drawings utilized for building Industrial Control Panels, on-machine wiring, troubleshooting wiring, and equipment operation.
Analyze and implement project electrical specifications/requirements to design appropriate equipment for the application and meet industry standards.
Complete calculations for sizing equipment electrical service and wiring methods.
Create, quote, and maintain complex Bill of Materials (BOM).
Collaborate with various departments to address and resolve manufacturing, design, and quality issues, and to ensure the continuous improvement of processes and methods.
Communicate with customers through the equipment design process.
Facilitating and engaging in equipment design reviews.
Act as a technical resource for the sales department.
Qualifications:
Associates in CAD
Experience in AutoCAD Electrical
Hands-on experience with wiring methods, industrial control panel fabrication, electrical troubleshooting, and machine operation.
Evaluate and select properly sized electrical components and parts per UL508A and NEC standards.
Knowledge of UL508A and NEC codes.
Determine power requirements and SCCR ratings for Enclosed Industrial Control Panels.
Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
The majority of work performed in this role will take place in an office environment, with some tasks needing to be completed in a manufacturing environment.
Occasional travel to customer sites is possible.
