CDL-A Truck Driver Job Overview
- Strong pay built for local work. Drivers earn up to $90,000 per year with a 75CPM base rate plus a 15CPM performance bonus - up to 90CPM all in. Weekly averages around $1,703.
- Home weekly, with time to reset. Run routes within 250 miles of Shelbyville, IN, with a 34-hour reset at home each week before heading back out.
- Shifts built around the freight. Expect average 8-hour shifts with start times ranging from 4 PM to 2 AM.
- Freight that's close and consistent. This is a touch-freight position hauling refrigerated grocery loads with pallet jack and some hand unloading on established local lanes.
- Pay that grows with you. A 5CPM increase is available at one year of service.
