We are seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Project Manager with a background in Construction Management and a strong foundation and experience in Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing (MEP) systems, specifically on mission critical projects such as data centers, clean rooms, or high-tech facilities.

Job DetailsPlease note, this is a role that requires technical oversight. You will not be overseeing a general contractor, but running all of your own projects. As such, we are looking for someone with in-depth, technical knowledge who is hands-on and has deep technical knowledge.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage all phases of construction projects, from pre-construction through completion, with an emphasis on MEP systems.
- Coordinate daily activities and manage subcontractors, vendors, and internal teams to ensure scope, schedule, and budget alignment.
- Review construction documents, plans, and specifications to identify potential conflicts and drive value-engineered solutions.
- Monitor quality control, safety compliance, and MEP integration throughout all project phases.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between the field, engineering teams, and clients for project updates and issue resolution.
- Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, cost tracking, and forecasting.
- Participate in subcontractor procurement, contract negotiation, and change order management.
- Lead project meetings and prepare status reports for stakeholders and leadership.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience managing construction projects with a focus on MEP systems.
- Mission critical project experience is required (data centers, labs, hospitals, etc.).
- Background working with or for an electrical or mechanical contractor is highly desired.
- Proven ability to manage complex MEP scopes in occupied or high-sensitivity environments.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling software (Primavera, MS Project, etc.).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
- OSHA 30 Certification is a plus.
