Key Responsibilities

As a Custodial Maintenance Lead Technician, your daily tasks may include but are not limited to:


  • Plan, coordinate, and execute daily operational and custodial tasks while adjusting for events, guest flow, and park priorities.
  • Lead daily pre-shift meetings to set the tone, align priorities, and equip the team for success.
  • Work alongside the custodial staff to ensure quality standards, maximize efficiency, and adhere to safety protocols. Maintain cleanliness across the park, including restrooms, public areas, pathways, and conference rooms. This includes sweeping, trash removal, window cleaning, disinfecting surfaces, etc.
  • Communicate with event teams, facilities, and leadership to keep everyone on the same page. Provide custodial assistance during park events to help create a memorable experience for guests.
  • Ensure proper use and upkeep of custodial tools, supplies, and safety gear. Restock, manage, and track cleaning supplies throughout the park while using our maintenance management software to maintain consistent quality.
  • Operate a wider range of custodial and maintenance equipment, including pressure washers, vacuums, and specialized tools, etc. to ensure high standards of cleanliness.
  • Address unexpected challenges and adjust work plans as needed. Report maintenance issues to leadership and assist with special cleaning projects.
  • Document and relay shift pass-downs to maintain continuity across the team. Utilize Microsoft Office, Excel, and other web-based software to track tasks, maintain reports, and coordinate with leadership.
  • Train team members on custodial equipment and best practices, fostering professional growth and ensuring high operational standards.
  • Embody a world-class attitude and set the tone for excellence in cleanliness, guest service, and teamwork. Create a warm, professional environment through every guest interaction.


What We're Looking For


This position is classified as Safety-Sensitive, requiring strict adherence to safety protocols due to the heightened responsibilities involving equipment and hazardous materials.

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Employees in this role must be able to pass random drug screenings as part of ongoing safety compliance.
  • A leader who thrives in an active, hands-on role and demonstrates a strong ability to deliver exceptional service to peers, leadership, and guests with a strong sense of responsibility and attention to detail.
  • The ability to effectively prioritize daily responsibilities to ensure efficient workflow and a willingness to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • A commitment to follow and uphold company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines with precision.
  • Capability in shoveling and clearing of snow and ice from designated areas as needed, including sidewalks, parking lots, and entryways.
  • Mentorship ability strongly preferred; willingness to guide and develop team members; assisting in training and mentoring new custodial staff, helping them develop best practices.
  • Ability to run all custodial equipment and train team members in its proper use.
  • A team player with great communication skills to keep departments and staff aligned while maintaining a professional attitude.

Physical Requirements

  • Must have the ability to stand for extended periods of time; exhibit manual dexterity to use equipment; see and read printed material, physical agility to lift and carry up to 50 pounds individually, and 100 pounds with assistance, to bend, to stoop, to walk and to reach overhead. Must be able to carry, place and climb ladders of varying heights.
  • Perform the following physical activities: kneeling, squatting, bend floor-to-waist/waist-to-overhead, reach overhead, stand, sit, lift and walk indoors and outdoors for extended periods of time, push, pull, simple grasp and fine hand manipulations tasks.
  • Be able to work inside and outside, in varying weather, to include extreme cold/heat.
  • Position may be exposed to fumes, dust, odors, chemicals, and cold/heat temperature extremes.


Qualifications

  • Requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • Six months to one-year custodial maintenance experience preferred.
  • Must be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, holidays, weekends, and events, to support the needs of our 365-day operation, with varying shift lengths.
  • Must have a valid Oklahoma Driver's License.
  • Must have the ability to safely operate motor vehicles, golf carts, etc.
  • Candidates must have proven experience operating vehicles with trailers, including safe operation while reversing.


Safety-Sensitive:

This is a safety-sensitive position. Applicants, regardless of whether they are a medical marijuana licensee, must receive a negative result on a 10-panel, pre-placement drug screening to include THC, prior to beginning work.
