Our client, a leader in automation technology, is seeking a Controls Engineer to join their team. As a Controls Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting innovative projects. The ideal candidate will have strong servo programming and motion controls experience for automated equipment.

Job Title: Controls Engineer

Location: Princeton, Minnesota

Pay Range: $120,000 - $145,000

What's the Job?

  • Design and program equipment to meet company and customer build specifications using standard procedures.
  • Conduct safety circuit design and programming via safety PLC.
  • Perform risk assessments and implement associated safety devices.
  • Travel to customer sites for installation and startup of equipment. Average of 25%.
  • Document control systems for various types of automated equipment.

What's Needed?

  • 5 years of experience designing and programming control systems for automated equipment.
  • Proficiency with PLC, HMI, Robot, AutoCAD, Motion Control, Pneumatics, and Hydraulics.
  • Experience with AutoCAD, Studio 5000, RS 500, and FactoryTalk View.
