Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will hold a CPA or EA certification and have a strong background in financial management within the construction industry. This role is crucial for maintaining the financial health of our company and ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance.

Job Details

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements.
• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
• Manage cash flow, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Coordinate with external auditors and manage the annual audit process.
• Provide financial insights and recommendations to senior management.
• Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Qualifications:

• CPA or EA certification is required.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; MBA is a plus.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
