General Construction Labor Manager - Interiors Exterior
Location: Site varies depending on the project
Pay Range: $28-$36/hr depending on experience and certifications
Duration: 4 months to end of project
Project Type: Commercial Interior Construction / Data Centers / Office Buildings
Environment: Primarily indoor construction environments
We are seeking a General Construction Labor Manager to oversee labor crews supporting interior construction operations on active commercial projects. This individual will coordinate manpower, maintain workflow, and ensure projects stay clean, organized, and productive.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate general labor crews onsite
- Manage daily manpower scheduling and task assignments
- Oversee material handling, cleanup, and interior support operations
- Coordinate with Superintendents, PMs, and subcontractors
- Ensure work areas remain clean, organized, and production-ready
- Monitor safety, attendance, and productivity of labor crews
- Support demolition, floor protection, debris removal, and logistics operations
- Assist with maintaining project schedules and workflow efficiency
Requirements:
- Experience managing labor crews on commercial construction projects
- Interior/Exterior construction experience preferred
- Ability to work in fast-paced project environments
- Strong communication and leadership skills
- OSHA 10 preferred
- Reliable transportation
Tools/PPE Required:
- Hard hat with chin strap
- Safety vest
- Safety glasses
- Steel toe boots
- Gloves
- Basic hand tools preferred
