CNC Operator - Manual Set-up

Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Machinist to join their team. As a Machinist, you will be part of the Machine Shop supporting the manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, a mechanical aptitude, and a self-motivated work ethic which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Machinist

Location: Pittsburg, KS

Pay Range: Depending on Experience

What's the Job?

• Reading and accurately interpreting blueprints.
• Setting up and operating all types of manual machine tools including CNC lathes and CNC mills.
• Accurately using typical machinist's measuring devices.
• Working cooperatively with the manufacturing team including engineers and assembly personnel.
• Maintaining clean and orderly work areas while adhering to safety guidelines.

What's Needed?

• High school diploma.
• Three to five years' experience preferred.
• Established comfort level with power-driven equipment.
• Demonstrated mechanical aptitude.
• Ability to occasionally lift and carry up to 75 pounds.
