CNC Lathe Operator - Valencia, CA
Location: Valencia, CA
Schedule: Full-Time Monday-Friday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM
Pay: Starting at $21/hr-$40/hr (DOE)
We are hiring a CNC Lathe Operator to set up and operate CNC machines to produce precision aerospace components. This position is ideal for someone with manufacturing experience who can work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Operate CNC lathe machines according to specifications
- Load and unload materials and parts
- Inspect finished parts to ensure quality and tolerances are met
- Perform basic machine adjustments and routine maintenance
- Monitor machine performance and troubleshoot issues as needed
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Meet daily production goals and deadlines
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of machine operating experience in manufacturing
- Familiarity with machining tools and equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs
- Flexible and dependable with strong attendance
Work Environment
- Manufacturing/warehouse setting
- Exposure to varying temperatures, machine noise, and machining fluids
- Frequent standing, bending, kneeling, and repetitive motion required
