We are accepting applications for full time and part time sweeper truck drivers. All applicants must have a CDL Class B License with at least one year commercial driving experience. We will properly train the right candidate on safe operation of our sweeper trucks
Applicants must be able to work a flexible schedule
Reliable transportation and a mobile phone are required. A strong mechanical background is a plus.
Class B Truck Driver Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Follow directions and routes to job sites
- Perform safe and professional operation of the sweeper truck duties
- Fill out pre and post trip safety logs
- Obtain signatures of work completion
- Communicate with dispatch as needed
- Maintain and clean vehicle as needed (refuel, fluids, tire pressure, etc.)
- Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs
- Track and report working hours
- Adhere to company rules and regulations
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions
Class B Truck Driver Requirements and Qualifications
- Valid Class B commercial driver's license required
- 2+ years of driving a class B truck a plus
- Clean driving record
- Experience operating construction equipment and or trash trucks is a plus
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds
- Must pass a background check and drug test
