Responsibilities: - Operate Class A trucks for long-haul transportation across various routes.
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to safety regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to maintain vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle maintenance, and deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and provide updates on route status.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo as needed, ensuring secure transport.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company policies.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with customers during deliveries.
Requirements: - Minimum of 3 years of OTR driving experience required.
- Valid Class A CDL with a clean driving record.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance.
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission trucks.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Must pass a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to be away from home for extended periods.
- Strong work ethic and a commitment to safety.
