About the Role: Join S & J ELITE TRANSPORT LLC as a Class A Commercial Driver in Charleston, SC! We are seeking dedicated drivers to deliver exceptional service while ensuring safety and efficiency on the road.
Responsibilities: - Operate Class A vehicles safely and efficiently over long distances.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety.
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while on the road.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and fuel consumption.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and other team members.
- Load and unload cargo as required, ensuring proper handling.
- Adhere to company policies and procedures for safety and compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups.
Requirements: - Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of over-the-road driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Ability to lift heavy loads and perform physical tasks.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and weekends as needed.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must pass background checks and drug screenings.
