Chief Pilot

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and safety-focused Chief Pilot to lead our flight operations with a strong commitment to excellence in safety, compliance, and customer service. This role is responsible for supervising flight crew operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, overseeing training and scheduling, and actively participating in flights. The Chief Pilot plays a critical role in maintaining a high-performing and professional flight department.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise all flight crew members, providing training, guidance, and performance oversight.

• Maintain and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to ensure safe and efficient flight operations.

• Ensure all flights are conducted in compliance with FAA regulations, company policies, and safety standards.

• Participate in flight duties on a regular basis, including both domestic and international operations.

• Coordinate pilot scheduling, duty time limitations, and flight readiness.

• Evaluate and mentor pilots to promote professional growth and regulatory compliance.

• Assist in managing aviation department expenditures and identifying cost-saving opportunities.

• Support maintenance oversight, including inspections and audits in coordination with maintenance personnel and vendors.

• Maintain required operational records and ensure timely documentation of training, flight hours, and certifications.

• Collaborate with leadership to set departmental goals and safety initiatives.

• Promote a culture of teamwork, professionalism, and exceptional customer service.

What We're Looking For:

• Minimum of 10,000 total flight hours, including:

  • 5,000 hours in turbine aircraft

  • 5,000 hours as Pilot in Command

• Bachelor's degree preferred

• Current FAA First Class Medical and Commercial Pilot Certificate

• Type-rated in Challenger 604 preferred

• Significant experience in both domestic and international operations

• Minimum 5 years of corporate aviation experience

• Proven leadership and mentoring skills

• Strong understanding of FAA regulations, SMS programs, and industry best practices

• Professional, discreet, and service-oriented demeanor

• Ability to adapt in dynamic situations and maintain composure under pressure

• Valid, unrestricted passport
