Cherry Picker Operator
Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and safety-focused Cherry Picker Operator to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating a cherry picker forklift to retrieve, move, and stock inventory while maintaining accuracy and following all safety procedures.
Responsibilities
- Operate a cherry picker safely and efficiently to pick, stock, and replenish inventory.
- Pull and prepare customer orders accurately and on time.
- Load, unload, and transport materials throughout the warehouse.
- Scan products using RF scanners and update inventory records.
- Inspect equipment before each shift and report any maintenance or safety concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow company policies and OSHA safety guidelines.
- Assist with general warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Previous experience operating a cherry picker forklift is preferred.
- Valid forklift certification is a plus (or willingness to become certified).
- Experience working in a warehouse or distribution center.
- Ability to use RF scanners and warehouse management systems.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
- Comfortable working at heights of up to 30-40 feet.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and climb throughout the shift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
Schedule
- Full-time
- Day, evening, or weekend shifts may be available.
- Overtime may be required based on business needs.
