Our client, a leader in critical infrastructure, is seeking a CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 1 to join their team. As a CE Facility Support Engineer, you will be part of the operations team supporting essential facility functions. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CE Facility Support Engineer - Mechanical 1

Location: Hoffman Estates, IL
Night Shift: 12-hrs (Sun-Wed) & (Sun-Tue)

What's the Job?

  • Provide necessary escort to third-party contractors, sub-contractors, vendors, and service providers on site.
  • Perform tasks such as making rounds and conducting initial assessments on equipment performance under supervision.
  • Monitor the performance of maintenance and operations of equipment within the data center.
  • Conduct visual or non-intrusive preventative maintenance on various systems.
  • Ensure compliance with all safety procedures and physical security policies while performing work.

What's Needed?

  • All candidates must hold an OSHA or OSHA-approved NFPA 70E Certification.
  • Experience with mechanical systems in high availability environments such as data centers, hospitals, or manufacturing.
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • 1+ year(s) work/applied learning experience in technical fields.
  • Able to work a flexible schedule, including 12-hour shifts and rotating shifts.
