CDL A Driver - Dallas/Fort Worth to El Paso Routes
Location: Dallas/Fort Worth, TX
CornerStone Professional Placement is seeking 10-15 CDL A Drivers for a growing transportation operation running dedicated routes between Dallas/Fort Worth and El Paso. Whether you prefer solo driving with nightly home time or team driving with unlimited earning potential, this is an opportunity to maximize your income with consistent freight and drop-and-hook operations.
Responsibilities:
Transport freight between Dallas/Fort Worth and El Paso safely and efficiently
Complete dedicated route assignments while maintaining DOT compliance
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections
Ensure timely delivery and accurate documentation of loads
Adhere to all company safety standards and FMCSA regulations
Maintain professional communication with dispatch and operations teams
Requirements:
Valid CDL Class A License
Ability to pass DOT Physical and DOT Verification of Employment
Clean driving record and ability to meet company hiring standards
Must successfully pass PSP/STAT reports, Social Security Trace, and employment verification screenings
Commitment to safety, reliability, and customer service
Compensation and Benefits:
Employment Type: Direct Hire
Schedule:

• Solo Drivers: 2-3 loads per week, home every other night
• Team Drivers: Non-stop dedicated runs, 5-6 days per week
• Team drivers can run as many trips as available and may complete multiple runs per day
• All freight is 100% drop-and-hook

Salary:

• Solo Drivers: $0.68 per mile
• Team Drivers: $0.80 per mile
• Annual earning potential: $85,000 - $115,000+ based on consistency and availability

Equipment:

• Mileage drivers operate sleeper cabs
• Team drivers keep moving with non-stop operations
• No per diem program
