Bandit Solutions, LLC, a WBENC-certified, women-owned contractor, is seeking a dependable CDL Class B Field Technician to operate Air-Vac excavation trucks and support utility construction projects across Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, and surrounding areas. This hands-on role involves working outdoors in pipeline, energy, and industrial environments as part of a small field crew. Candidates should be ready for regular multi-state travel and eager to grow their skills in utility excavation operations.
This is not a local driving position. Frequent overnight travel is required. Company-paid hotels and per diem are provided.
What You'll Do
- Drive and operate CDL Class B Air-Vac trucks
- Work as part of a two-person field crew on utility and excavation projects
- Perform vacuum excavation and underground utility exposure
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Operate vacuum systems, hoses, air lances, and excavation equipment
- Complete electronic logs and daily paperwork
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety requirements
- Assist with equipment maintenance and minor repairs
- Work alongside utility, pipeline, industrial, and construction crews
Required
- Valid CDL Class B License
- Air Brake Endorsement
- Ability to lift 70 lbs.
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Willingness to travel for extended periods
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to pass pre-employment screening
Preferred
- Utility construction experience
- Vacuum excavation experience
- Commercial driving experience
- Knowledge of Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Experience operating construction equipment

Travel Requirements
This position requires frequent travel. Travel assignments may last from several days to multiple weeks. Candidates who are NOT willing to travel should NOT apply.
