CDL A Driver- Regional, Touch, $29.50/hr
TransForce is seeking a CDL A Driver to support local operations based in Kansas City, MO. This position offers steady work, reliable scheduling, and the opportunity to work with a driver-focused team.
Route & Load Details:
- Pay: $29.50 /hr plus overtime after 40 hours
- Route Type: Regional
- Equipment: 53' tractor trailer
- Handling: Heavy Touch Freight, two wheeler
Schedule - Schedule: Monday-Saturday. Driver will be dispatched between midnight and 6am. They have home daily routes but drivers may have to do 1 to 3 overnight a week. Driver will receive their schedule for the week the Friday before the upcoming week.
CDL A Driver Responsibilities: - Driver will operate an automatic 53' Dry Van - When overnight they will be in a sleeper cab truck Drivers will operate within a 700 mile radius of Kansas City Touch Freight hauling clothing and other small household items such as end tables and coffee table and so on. This is very heavy touch and will be unloading objects that can weigh up to 70lbs. There will be between 300-700 cases on the truck. The driver will back into the dock and unload the cases onto an conveyor belt. They will unload with a two wheeler and by hand
Minimum Requirements: - 1 year of experience operating a tractor trailer
