CDL A Driver - Local - $26 Per Hour Location: Detroit, Michigan
About the Position Transforce is seeking full-time CDL A drivers in Detroit for a local position, hauling produce to distribution centers and stores. Drivers should be prepared to work 6 days per week.
Pay & Schedule - Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour
- Overtime after 40 hours
- Company operates 7 days a week; drivers should be prepared to work 6 days a week
- Dispatch times start from Midnight to 10 AM
- 12-14 hours per day with a 4-hour daily minimum
Job Details - Route Type: Local
- Freight: Produce
- Equipment: Kenworth and Freightliner tractors (day and sleeper cabs), reefers, and straight trucks
- Handling: 90% no-touch freight, with potential use of electric pallet jacks
- 4-5 stops per day
Minimum Requirements - 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable CDL driving experience
- Valid CDL A
- Drivers able to operate a manual transmission are preferred
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in last 3 years)
- Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements
